Guys,
We're F1 fans right? Yet we're not talking about it in real life. Use this thread to discuss who you think will take the titles? A nice relief from all the modding and discussion game wise going on!
Personally - I think it's between Vettel, Hamilton, Alonso, Button and Webber.
But I think it all depends on this next race to see a few updates.
If Vettel wins in Spain, he is back in the race. If Alonso wins the next 2 races, he's seriously a contender If Button wins next, he needs to be taken seriously as regaining. If Hamilton wins the next race, like Alonso he needs at least 1 more to be in the hunt. If Webber wins in Barcelona, he needs to make sure he can deal with Vettel in the team to gun for the title.
Team title, I think is between McLaren and Red Bull. Again depending on Spain, I think this is close to call. I'd go for Red Bull if they can finish well, but McLaren are consistent. So I think both could do it.

Title: Hamilton Team: Red Bull
Good idea. We do need to talk more about real life F1. We are fans here after all.

Red Bull is not constant, I think that the World Driver Championship is for McLaren drivers and with little chance the Fernando Alonso, and the Constructors Championship will be for Red Bull in those sporadic 1-2 ...

What do you mean? With Alonso?

I mean Webber winning 2 races in 8 days and leading the championship.

Well, with 25 points for winner now.... It's so easy.
I though actually, that's quite wrong. Current driver's points will soon blitz older drivers. We may get Liuzzi having more points that Sterling Moss! lol.

I dislike the 25 points thing for that reason. Using it over extended years would make career point totals really meaningless when compared to past eras.
25/18/15/12/etc is pretty close to 10/8/6/5/4/etc., in terms of percentage of points. Everything's just multiplied by around 2.5, including the gaps between season totals.
