Who still plays this over F1 Manager Pro

Just wondering who still plays this game. Personally I think it got too easy when you brought peoples used bits. rather than develop your own, but it's still an excellent game. If only S2000 were still going.

But I think F1CM is becomming a better game then this.... still not released trough.

I still play F1 Man 96. Not since the update though. ned to rule F1 Man Pro.

Well they are in alpha stage. Graphics don't look slick yet, but I have great hopes, they should merge with rfactor (new game from the creators of F1 Championship) and have a Manage your team and then drive the cars game;) Oh well..

Yeah, Iv been checking on the update of F1 CM for years now. Oh well, just have to keep waiting I suppose!

That F1 CM is taking forever, there was meant to be another game due for release forgot that name...

Anyway, back on topic before Simtek closes the thread!! - I haven't played it since the 04 Update

i have both but since i have had f1 man pro i havent touched it as they are the same game but pro has more attention to detail once you have a realistic update on f1 man pro theirs no point going back to a cut down version.the only reason i would play the old one was if i was to lazy to update my game with real personel but im not lazy so i play updated f1 man pro

as for f1cm i know its annoying waiting but think of it this way better late than never as no one else out their is trying to make a whole new f1 manager game other than these guys so give them some respect guys.

I think the problem is people have not been waiting a few months, but literally year after year after year, usually with little updates, and like so many games people end up giving up making the game, and lots of people saw it going (or still going) that way. Yeah, we should respect them for what they are doing, but dont forget it will be us who will be paying them for there games soon enough, so we can expect a little something!!

I still play it. I once updated the game only by HEX code (crazy work and when I was 15 or something), 5 years ago to the data of 2001.

I still want to do a 2006/2007 update sometime, but I lost a lot of the knowledge I had, have to go all hex codes again to get it. I only wish I could edit the pictures...

You can do it via Save game hex editing. But it does defeat the object when a picture of Martin Brrundle is there in place of say "Alonso". lol.

I want to look into getting pics into F1 Man Pro, and trying to use the code from that game once it has been imported and converted. Though, It's just not possible right now. Some crazy dedication may bring me closer...

It's a shame there's no other decent F1 managers out there except F1 man 96 and Pro....

These games far ourclass anything newer. GPW, F1 man 2000 dont even come close

Interesting. Whilst F1cm has taken forever to come out. I have been chatting to someone for a while. we have set up a preliminary forum. We're working on the database right now so we can build on that. So it's VERY early in it's stages.
