To get the ball rolling...
Who do you think will be 2005 champion?
I'm personally thinking that Renault have the best package for it. Though McLaren could do some damage.
So for me it's Fisichella.
He is definitely hungry for it! - No doubt. Alonso will be quick, but I think that will just push Fisichella even more. Plus, time isn't on his side...

I'd like to go with Kimi Raikkonen, but at the same point Montoya would also be quick in the same car.
I have to admit Fissi is odds on now really. But I'll stick my neck out and say one of the McLaren's.
Constructors definitely them anyway.

I'm gonna go with Kimi (hence the name!) He will capture the gold this year. Though seeing Webber contend would be good.

Fisichella is being screwed over by Renault this year. He showed in Melbourne that he is a match or faster than alonso, and dont forget alonso got blown away by trulli in 2004. Its no secret that Alonso is Briatore's favourtie.
JPM is showing why he didnt do that much better than Ralf at williams. WAY too many mistakes. But he can be fast for a lap or two.
Then there is Schuey...... okay, so the tyres arent up to the job, but they got better since canada, and he is close enough to steal it away from alonso and raikkonen. We know he's good enough to. Like Martin Brundle said at imola, watch out fernando, the big scary red monster is coming to get you!

cant see schuey doing it this time, and maybe never again.... although you can never count him out! Agreed about JPM, he is too inconsitent to be a serious conender for the championship

He woulda won it, prolly by about 20 seconds!
However, i still feel that fisi got screwed AGAIN. Renault pitted him early to make sure he stayed behind alonso, and to MAKE SURE for certain he couldnt pass alonso, the car stalled, even with the anti-stall device. how many cars have u seen stall in the pitlane in the last 2 years of f1...hardly any.
Fisi was right behind alonso and should have had more fuel than him after the first stop, and if alonso was close to getting montoya, i think for sure fisi with his extra laps of fuel would have got Monty for sure. Flav can thank his lack of support for fisi for losing the Brit GP.
Well done Monty, why cant he drive like that at every race.....? If he did, he has a chance of becoming WDC one day.

my friend went to the race as well, got flown in by helicopter and that, vip treatment by the Renault boys, the whole works!! Made me so bitter, not sure if i will speak to her ever again!!!! lol!!!
Which stand were you in Simtek??
